Introduction

Language goals

Supersession

The end goal for Vildlang, is to be partially, or fully superseded. Vildlang will mostly be considered a success when other languages take up some of the lessons from Vildlang. To facilitate this, a major goal for the language will be to will be to document some of its most major decisions, accompanying research, evidence and lessons learned. In the end Vildlang should define a list of its most major and unique decisions, formatted in a way that they are clearly laid out, described and made actionable for other languages to adopt.

Pipeline

The pipeline for going from vildlang to vildcode, is quite linear, and not much unlike how many other languages do it. Though currently, not much of the pipeline is implemented. The plan is to have a system like this:

Beyond this point, Nemunas takes the VildHIR and makes it into VildMIR, which then gets further compiled, until it is executable code.
